The Narcotics Control Bureau on 27th August arrested television and film actor Gaurav Dixit after officials recovered MD and charas from his residence at Lokhandwala Complex in Bombay during a raid in April this year. The raid was conducted after his name came up during an interrogation of actor Ajaz Khan. However, as soon as Gaurav spotted the police at his house, he fled. He has since then been on the run but was finally arrested yesterday. Gaurav will be produced in court by the NCB for his custody. Among the films Gaurav has acted in are Happy Bhag Jayegi, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, Dahek: A Restless Mind, Fun – Can Be Dangerous Sometimes and Bobby: Love And Lust. He was also seen in TV serial Seeta Aur Geeta.
Ajaz Khan was detained for questioning in March this year as soon as he arrived from Jaipur and landed at the Bombay airport. He was arrested the following day.
