The Narcotics Control Bureau recently filed a chargesheet against TV show host and actress Bharti Singh and her husband, Harsh Limbachiyaa, in a case of drug consumption two years ago. The two were arrested after the NCB team conducted a raid at their Lokhandwala flat at Andheri in Bombay on November 21, 2020, and seized 86.5 gm. of marijuana. The duo was then granted bail.
The couple has been chargesheeted under sections 27, 28, 29 and 8C of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Their names had cropped up during the interrogation of a drug peddler as part of the NCB’s probe into the alleged prevalence of drugs in Bollywood after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput by suicide in June 2020.
