The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has launched a hunt for Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend, assistant director Rishikesh Pawar, in connection with a drugs case linked to the late actor’s death. Rishikesh had moved court seeking anticipatory bail since he feared, he would be arrested as he was handling delivery of drugs to Sushant in his last days. The special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court on 7th January rejected Pawar’s anticipatory bail application. NCB officials then searched his house but he could not be traced.
It is learnt that Rishikesh worked for Rajput for a while but was fired early last year. He continued to visit Sushant after being fired. Summons had been issued to him by the NCB but he refused to present himself for interrogation.
