The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided the home of producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala today (8th November) as his name cropped up in a series of five raids conducted by it yesterday (7th) at the homes of some alleged drug peddlers and suppliers. Drugs and cash were seized in those raids. Around 10 gms. of marijuana was found today in the search operation at the Nadiadwala residence. The NCB has seized that and has arrested Firoz’s wife, Shabana Saeed, under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, after questioning her. Firoz has been summoned for interrogation.
The NCB has become very active in ascertaining the drugs-Bollywood nexus after it was called in to probe the drugs angle in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise on 14th June.
Firoz has produced a number of films including Welcome, Welcome Back, Hera Pheri, Phir Hera Pheri, Kartoos, Ghar Ho To Aisa, Awara Paagal Deewana, Ram Shastra, Aan: Men At Work, Deewane Huye Paagal and Fool N Final.
