Night curfews imposed in many cities of Gujarat (as in cities in other states too) have now been lifted. The curfew was imposed in view of the growing number of Omicron cases but now that the cases of the virus infection are reducing, the government of Gujarat has lifted the night curfews from all the cities except Ahmedabad and Baroda. This means that cinemas all over Gujarat, except in Ahmedabad and Baroda, can conduct night shows too. Cinemas in the state, however, still cannot function at more than 50% capacity.
