Actor Nitish Bharadwaj, who played Krishna in TV serial Mahabharat, has applied for divorce from his wife, Smita Gate. The couple has twin daughters who are currently with the mother in Indore. Smita is an IAS officer.
This was Nitish’s second marriage. He was earlier married to Monisha Patil from 1991 to 2005. Nitish and Monisha have a son and a daughter. He married Smita in 2009.
