Producer Aditya Chopra will not change the title of Yash Raj Films’ Prithviraj, it is learnt from very reliable sources. The historical, directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, will be released with the original title only. The Karni Sena had demanded that the title be changed to something on the lines of ‘Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’ to give the respect which the last Hindu warrior king deserves. The Sena had warned that if the title is not changed, it would not permit the film’s release in Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, the film, starring Akshay Kumar in the title role, will be seen by home minister Amit Shah along with some more cabinet ministers in Delhi on 1st June, two days prior to its all-world theatrical release.
