Singers Vani Jairam and Suman Kalyanpur, music director M.M. Keeravani, actress Raveena Tandon and late producer and stock market investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala are the film people who will be honoured with Padma Awards this year. The two singers will be given the Padma Bhushan. Raveena, Keeravani and Jhunjhunwala have been named for the Padma Shri.
The awards were announced yesterday (25th January), on the eve of the Republic Day.
