Paresh Rawal was appointed chairman of the National School of Drama on 10th September by the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind. The actor, who is also a former MP, will hold office for four years. He has replaced playwright Ratan Thiyam whose tenure ended in August 2017. The chairman’s post had been vacant since then.
