After participating in the promo shooting of Hera Pheri 3, Paresh Rawal earlier this week walked out of the film without assigning any reason. Irked by the senior actor’s unprofessional attitude, producer and co-actor Akshay Kumar sued him for Rs. 25 crore, saying that he had caused the production house embarrassment and losses by opting out of the project after signing a contract to be a part of it.
The latest report says that Paresh Rawal has returned the signing amount of Rs. 11 lakh, which he had received for working in the third part of the cult franchise, Hera Pheri, along with interest at 15% p.a. It is believed that Rawal was signed for a fee of Rs. 15 crore. Rumours have it that Paresh demanded Rs. 25 crore as his remuneration and walked out of the film when producer Akshay Kumar pleaded inability to pay that amount.
