POLICE COMPLAINT AGAINST VIVEK AGNIHOTRI | 27 March, 2022

A complaint was filed on March 26 against Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, the director of The Kashmir Files, at Versova police station in Bombay over his “Bhopali means homosexual” remark, seeking registration of an FIR for defamation and other charges. The complaint was made by journalist and public relations person Rohit Pandey who alleged that Agnihotri insulted and disrespected his (Pandey’s) native place, Bhopal, by “willingly, wantonly and maliciously calling Bhopalis as homosexuals” in a media interview.
