The Juhu (Bombay) police have seized the .32 bore revolver that misfired and hit the left leg of actor-politician Govinda on 1st October. The weapon will be sent for forensic examination to find out if it had any fault which could’ve led to the accident. The police will record Govinda’s statement once he is shifted out of the ICU.
Meanwhile, the Bombay crime branch personnel have met the actor and enquired with him about the incident.
While the local police have been conducting an investigation, the crime branch has also started a parallel enquiry into the incident. Govinda was reportedly alone at his residence when the shooting incident took place.
