PVR Inox on April 11 announced the launch of Bangalore’s largest multiplex at Phoenix Mall of Asia. This is also the largest cinema in South India.
The 14-screen megaplex features three premium formats viz. MX4D, ScreenX and Insignia. This megaplex will be the first in South India to have MX4D and ScreenX formats.
With this, PVR Inox will have 26 cinemas in Bangalore with a screen count of 172. The numbers for Karnataka will be 37 cinemas and 219 screens. In South India, PVR Inox now has a total of 572 screens in 100 cinemas.
