Post-merger with Inox, PVR today (1st March) announced the launch of Lucknow’s biggest cinema at Lulu Mall, the largest shopping mall in the city. With this 11-screen superplex, the merged entity has 158 screens in 32 properties in the state of Uttar Pradesh. In North India, the entity has 438 screens in 100 properties.
The 11-screen multiplex, which was thrown open to the public from 24th February, includes the multi-sensory 4DX format, premium large-screen format P[XL], two auditoria of PVR’s luxury format, Luxe, and seven auditoria with last-row recliners. It has a seating capacity of 1,841 and is equipped with SP4K laser projectors, advanced Dolby Atmos surround sound and REAL D 3D digital Stereophonic projection.
Ajay Bijli, managing director, PVR Ltd., and Ranbir Kapoor were present at the launch.
