RANDEEP HOODA VOICES CONCERN OVER DESTRUCTION OF TREES IN GOA | 7 November, 2020

Randeep Hooda took to his Twitter account today (7th November) to talk about the proposed felling of 70,000 trees in Goa and destruction of the biodiversity hub. Thousands of Goans had gathered at Chandor village in South Goa on 1st November to hold midnight protests against the state government’s move to push for expansion of the railway network between Margao and Sanvordem, which would involve cutting of more than 70,000 trees.

The actor tweeted: “Let’s stand with Goans protesting the proposed loss of 70K trees and destruction of biodiversity hub in #Mollem a #Tiger habitat for doubling the railway line to make Goa into a Coal transport hub instead. Why not go around the Eco sensitive zone? #SaveMollem.”
