A special show of producer Charu Joshi’s stage-play, Rashtrapati Bhavan, was held on 16th July at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in New Delhi. The one-and-a-half-hour-long play traces the lives (in short) of the 14 presidents as well as the viceroys of India from 1912 to the present times and shows how the erstwhile Viceroy House was converted into Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The well-appreciated play was attended by outgoing president Ram Nath Kovind, vice president M. Venkaiah Naidu and governors of various states as also many central ministers. It is directed by Kumar Sohoni and written by Abhiram Bhadkamkar. Actor Manoj Joshi is the creative director and narrator (sutradhar) of the show. The play was researched for three months by Manoj Joshi.
