Launched in 2023, Roongta Cinemas expands further with the imminent opening of its new property in Ghaziabad (erstwhile Star X, Vaishali) later this month. The multiplex, with three screens, will have a seating capacity of 500.
Roongta Cinemas is also due to open multiplexes in Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Prayagraj, Ranchi, Ludhiana and other cities.It already has multiplexes in Surat, Gandhidham and Muzaffarnagar.
Ankur Roongta, managing director of Roongta Cinemas, has a vision of 100 screens across India soon by establishing new cinemas in tier 1, 2 and 3 cities.
