Looking to the tremendous public response to Gadar 2, an exhibitor did what few would not even dream of doing. Chander Vijay, owner of Raj Imperial Inox multiplex of Surat, screened the blockbuster round the clock on Saturday, August 12. And he will repeat this on Monday (August 14). The non-stop shows were planned on Saturday because the following day (Sunday, August 13) was a holiday. Similarly, he will run non-stop shows on Monday as Tuesday (August 15) is a national holiday.
Just to elaborate, the first show will start on Monday at 7.30 a.m. in all the six screens of the multiplex, and the last show will end at 2.30 a.m. on Wednesday (or, in other words, Tuesday late night). In other words, all the screens will be working non-stop for 43 hours, showing Gadar 2Â in nearly 83% of the shows and only Gadar 2 in the late night shows. And the same thing happened from Saturday morning to Monday early morning (or, in other words, Sunday late night).
