Actor Saif Ali Khan was discharged from Lilavati Hospital earlier today (21st January). He underwent surgery on 16th for removal of a piece of knife lodged in his thoracic spine. The knife piece got stuck there when the robber, who entered his quadruplex flat at Bandra in Bombay around 2.30 a.m. on 16th, attacked the actor.
Saif tried to catch the robber and held him in a tight lock from the front, which is when the robber stabbed him in the back. Saif also sustained other injuries on his neck and hand.
While Saif is recuperating at home and will need rest for a long time, the robber has been arrested.
