SALMAN KHAN APPLIES FOR WEAPON LICENCE | 24 July, 2022

It is being surmised that Salman Khan’s meeting with new Bombay police commissioner Vivek Phansalkar on 22nd July was to meet “an old friend” and also because he has applied for a weapon licence. The weapon licence is being applied for in view of the threat letter which his writer-father, Salim Khan, received in June while he was on his morning walk. The threat letter stated that the father-son duo would meet the same fate as Punjabi film and pop singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The singer was killed on May 29 in Mansa (Punjab).

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is said to have sent the threat letter to the Khans. Bishnoi is also an accused in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case.

Salman Khan also met Bombay joint commissioner of police (law and order), Vishwas Nangre-Patil, on 22nd July.
