The Kerala police have filed another case of sexual assault against Malayalam film actor Jayasurya after an actress alleged that he had tried to force himself on her during a shooting in Thodupuzha in 2013. The probe may be handed to Kerala Police Academy assistant director Aishwarya Dongre, who is part of the SIT constituted to look into allegations about sexual impropriety in the Malayalam film industry of Kerala.
The complainant has alleged that Jayasurya tried to sexually assault her when she was leaving the washroom on the set of Pigman. She said, he apologised when she resisted and pushed him away after he held her tightly from the back.
The previous case against Jayasurya is based on a Kochi-based junior artiste’s complaint alleging that he misbehaved with her during a film shooting at the state secretariat.
