Tunisha Sharma’s ex-boyfriend and co-star, Sheezan Khan, was arrested by the Waliv police yesterday (December 25) for abetment to suicide. He will be produced in Vasai court today (December 26). Television actress Tunisha, who was dating Sheezan till recently, was found hanging to her death on December 24 in the washroom of Bhajanlal Studios in Palghar district, where the two actors were shooting for Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul.
Tunisha’s mother accused Sheezan of abetting her suicide. She told the police that her daughter had been hospitalised a week before her death, for a panic attack she suffered. She said, Sheezan cheated on Tunisha and made false promises, which led to their break-up a fortnight before she ended her life.
