Four days after the Valiv police filed the chargesheet in the death case of TV actress Tunisha Sharma, accused co-actor Sheezan Khan on February 20 filed a bail petition in a Vasai court. The bail plea is likely to be heard on February 23. The court had rejected Khan’s bail plea on January 13.
Tunisha was found hanging in the washroom of Sheezan’s make-up room in a studio at Naigaon in Bombay where the two were shooting for TV serial Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul on December 24, 2022. Sheezan was arrested for abetment to suicide, based on the complaint of Tunisha’s mother. He has been in jail since December, 31, 2022.
According to Khan’s lawyer, they moved the court once again for bail as the chargesheet had been filed.
