The Bombay crime branch yesterday (23rd July) carried out a search of Shilpa Shetty’s house at Juhu in Bombay in connection with the pornography case involving her husband, Raj Kundra. Shilpa was a director in Raj’s company, Viaan Industries, which is under the scanner. A police team recorded the actress’ statement on when and why she resigned from the post. The police are now likely to probe her bank accounts to see whether proceeds from Hotshots (app linked to Kundra’s company, which showed pornographic films made by him) landed in her bank accounts. Meanwhile, the probe into Kundra’s affairs, companies, bank accounts and businesses are in progress.
