A metropolitan magistrate court in Bombay today (September 20) granted Shilpa Shetty’s husband, Raj Kundra, bail in the alleged porn case, on a surety of Rs. 50,000. His co-worker, Ryan Thorpe, was also granted bail.
Raj is expected to walk out of jail tomorrow (September 21). He had filed a bail application in court on September 18, claiming that he was being made a scapegoat and that there was no evidence whatsoever in the supplementary chargesheet of him being actively involved in the creation or uploading (on Hotshots app) of the allegedly questionable content.
Raj Kundra had been arrested on July 19 after being booked under sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.
