Veteran Marathi film and stage actor Shrikant Moghe passed away today (6th March) in Pune. He was 91 years old. He was the father of actor Shantanu Moghe and the father-in-law of television actress Priya Marathe.
Shrikant Moghe had also directed some films. Moghe had acted in some Hindi films. Among the well-known Marathi films in which Shrikant Moghe was seen were Madhuchandra, Sinhaasan, Gammat Jammat, Umbartha and Vasudev Balwant Phadke. Poet and lyricist Sudhir Moghe was Shrikant Moghe’s younger brother.
