‘SHUSHUR: THE FROZEN TIMES’ REVIEW | 22 November, 2024

Released last week in East Punjab, Mayur Arts International’s Shushur: The Frozen Times is the story of a woman in search of her husband who is missing since 30 years.

Dr. S. Koul’s story lacks entertainment value. Faiyaz Dilbar’s screenplay is dull, dry and drab. His dialogues are ordinary.

Shahid Lateef, Gul Reyaz, Neha Lahotra, Shahid Hussain, Saniya Mir, Yusuf Mir, Shammi Malhotra, Showkat Magray, Ajaz Rah and Mir Sarwar have delivered average performances.

Gul Reyaz’s direction is immature. His editing is loose. Mazhar Siddiqui’s music is functional. Arvind Singh’s cinematography is okay. Tafazul Matoo’s art direction is dull.

On the whole, Shushur: The Frozen Times is a poor fare.
