Kannada and Telugu film star Shwetha Kumari, arrested on January 3 in a drug seizure case, was on 7th January remanded to judicial custody for 14 days by a magistrate court in Bombay. She had been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau from a hotel in Thane district, following alleged seizure of 400 gm. of mephedrone.
