Actor Siddharth Shukla passed away of a heart attack this morning (2nd September) at his residence in Bombay. He was only 40 years old. He is survived by his mother and two sisters. He was taken to Cooper Hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
The news of his death sent shock waves among his fans and also in the film and television industry. Twitter was flooded with posts by the industry people as well as his fans as soon as the news of his demise became public. Siddharth had shot to fame with his performance and role in TV serial Balika Vadhu. He was also seen in Karan Johar’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, directed by Shashank Khaitan. He had made his acting debut in 2008 TV show Babul Ka Aangann Chhootey Na. He was a part of Ekta Kapoor’s web series Broken But Beautiful 3. He was the winner of popular TV reality shows Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. He also participated in TV show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6. He was seen recently on TV show Dance Deewane 3. He had hosted Savdhaan India and India’s Got Talent. He was extremely close to his Bigg Boss co-contestant, Shehnaaz Gill.
