The Bombay police, on the basis of a complaint filed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation today (January 4), registered an FIR against Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan for violating COVID-19 guidelines. The FIR also names Sohail’s son, Nirvaan. The trio returned from Dubai on December 25 and went home instead of being quarantined as per protocol.
Reportedly, Arbaaz and Sohail gave the airport authorities an assurance that they would quarantine themselves at Hotel Taj Land’s End but instead, they went home which is close to the Hotel. The cases under which the Khans have been booked are section 188 IPC and section 3 of the Epidemic Diseases Act. When a BMC team reached the Khan household, they were informed that all the three had been booked at the Hotel but went home when their COVID test report at the airport came negative.
