Veteran Bengali film actor Soumitra Chatterjee’s condition deteriorated yesterday (11th October). He was given a second plasma therapy at the hospital where he is undergoing treatment for COVID encephalopathy. Doctors attending on him said, he remained restless and confused throughout the day. He is on oxygen support but might have to be put on ventilator soon. He is also suffering from E. Coli infection and occasional fever.
