The Enforcement Directorate on 14th October searched the office and residence of producer Dinesh Vijan in a money-laundering case being investigated as part of the probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. Dinesh had produced and directed Raabta, starring Sushant and Kriti Sanon. Sources said that there were discrepancies in the payments made to Sushant by Vijan. The ED officials found a mismatch in the money paid to Sushant and the amount mentioned in the books of account.
It may be mentioned that the ED registered the money-laundering case on the basis of an FIR registered in Bihar by the late actor’s father.
