SUDARSHAN RATTAN NO MORE | 6 November, 2020

Writer-producer-director Sudarshan Rattan passed away yesterday (5th November) in Bombay due to COVID-19. He was the filmmaker who was among the first to sign Madhuri Dixit. Besides Rajshri’s Abodh and Sohanlal Kanwar’s Awara Baap, Madhuri worked in Rattan’s Manav Hatya which, unfortunately, could not get a theatrical release and Rattan had to, therefore, settle for a television release in 1986. A decade later, he also wrote, produced and directed Hahakaar.
