Tabu has been cast in a pivotal role in Hollywood’s Dune: Prophecy, the prequel to the Dune films. Tabu will play Sister Francesca in the film. Once a great love of the Emperor, she returns to the palace and strains the balance of power in the capital. The film also stars Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina and Shalom Brune-Franklin.
Tabu has previously acted in international films The Namesake, Life Of Pi and A Suitable Boy.
