Telugu film Sita Ramam opened in the UAE today (11th August) after the ban on its release was lifted. The film has now been censored. It was to have been released in the UAE on 5th August along with India. But the censor authorities felt that the Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna starrer could hurt the religious sentiments of the people of UAE if it was allowed to release there, and hence banned it.
