Vijay Deverakonda’s act of kindness seems to have not gone down well with the distributor of his 2020 film, World Famous Lover. The Telugu film actor announced that he would celebrate the success of his latest film, Kushi, by donating Rs. 1 lakh each to a hundred families. The announcement of donating Rs. 1 crore in all among needy families made the distributor of his earlier film, World Famous Lover, remind the actor that he had lost Rs. 8 crore in the film’s distribution.
Although the distributor, Abhishek Nama, clarified that he did not expect Vijay to compensate him for the losses of World Famous Lover as he was not the film’s producer, he, nevertheless, said that he was waiting for the actor’s dates to make another film with him and thereby recover his losses of three years ago.
