The mortal remains of producer Vijay Galani, who breathed his last in London yesterday (December 30) due to cancer, will not be brought to India. Galani had gone to London with his family for treatment but passed away there. As getting his body and permission to fly back with it would take his family two weeks in all because of strict COVID-19 protocols, the family has taken a decision to conduct his last rites in London itself.
It is learnt that his body and death certificate will be released on 4th January, 2022. He will be cremated by 7th January as the cremation hall would be required to be given 48 hours’ notice.
