The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on 25th June submitted a chargesheet before the special court against Yes Bank promoter Rana Kapoor, his daughter, Roshni Kapoor, Dewan Housing Finance Ltd. (DHFL) promoters Kapil and Dheeraj Wadhawan, and four others. Dheeraj Wadhawan is also a film producer.
The four have been named in a cheating and corruption case the CBI had registered against 12 people in March, relating to suspicious transactions in 2018 between Yes Bank and DHFL. Rana Kapoor and the Wadhawan brothers are currently in jail.
