The police recently arrested web series actor Rocky Singh a.k.a. Ravi Rajan for allegedly spiking the drink of a Jharkhand-based model on the pretext of giving her a break in films, raping her in a semi-conscious state, and uploading the video on social media. This is the fifth arrest in last year’s Malvani (Bombay) pornography case in which Shilpa Shetty’s husband, Raj Kundra, was involved. Rocky Singh was absconding since last year, after the sessions court and the Bombay high court had rejected his anticipatory bail.
The police had invoked IPC section 376 as also sections of the Information Technology Act.
