Yunus Sopariwala, owner of Bombay’s Dreamland, Mayur (Kandivli), Ajanta (Borivli) and Alishan (Mumbra) cinemas, passed away this morning (4th December) at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Bombay after a brief illness. His funeral was held today.
Of all his cinemas, only Ajanta cinema is functional.
A prayer meeting in his memory will be held for men tomorrow (5th) after Namaz-E-Isha at Al-Madina Masjid, Agripada, Bombay. For the ladies, it will be held tomorrow from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Aakash Apartment, Agripada.
