Actor Bhim Vakani passed away on 7th April in Bombay. He had acted in a number of films. He was the father of Disha Vakani, known for her leading role (Dayaben) in TV serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Bhim himself had appeared in several episodes of the popular serial.
Among the films Bhim worked in are Lagaan, Swades and Lajja.
