Actress Sadaf Jafar was on 7th January released from the Lucknow district jail after being in custody for 19 days. She accused the police of custodial torture and said, she and other anti-CAA protesters had been falsely implicated for the violence that had broken out last month. Sadaf said, she was abused physically by male and female cops at the Hazratganj police station. She had been arrested on 19th December.
