Filmmaker Aparna Sen on 11th October termed the murder of a school teacher, his pregnant wife, and their child in Murshidabad district of West Bengal a “gruesome act”. She said that it was “shame on us”. Sen urged West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee to punish the perpetrators by tweeting, “Irrespective of political inclinations, all citizens of WB are your responsibility. You are CM to all.”
