Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Krishan Kumar will jointly take the Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) franchise forward. They’ve announced Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, starring Kartik Aryan and to be directed by Anees Bazmee. Like the first part, the sequel will also be a comic psychological thriller. It will be produced under the banners of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios and has been penned by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik. It will release on July 31, 2020. The first part had starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.
Incidentally, Bhushan Kumar and Kartik Aryan have worked together in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and are currently working jointly in Pati Patni Aur Woh. Similarly, Bhushan and Murad Khetani just delivered the year’s biggest hit so far, Kabir Singh. Anees Bazmee and Bhushan Kumar have been associated together with several films in the past. Anees Bazmee has also directed Murad Khetani’s Mubarakan earlier.
