The Oshiwara (Bombay) police on 14th April arrested businessman Amit Agarwal for allegedly raping a 27-year-old model-actress. According to the model-actress, Agarwal blackmailed and sexually assÂaulted her, using an MMS clip which he had recorded in 2017. She and he used to live in together. She alleged that he shot a video clip of the two of them in an intimate position after he had allegedly spikÂed her drink. He reportedly brushed her off when she learnt of it and confronted him. Things then turned sour between the two, after which the victim left for her hometown in Uttar Pradesh. She returned to Bombay last year after getting engaged to a lawyer. She claims that Amit Agarwal started stalking her and even threatened to malign her name by circulating the MMS clip on social media.
According to her complaint, she gave in to his demands out of fear, and he phyÂsically tortured her. She soon learnt, Agarwal had shared the MMS clip with her friends.
