CASTING DIRECTOR ALLEGES VIKRAM BHATT STILL OWES HIM MONEY AFTER 3 YEARS | 5 February, 2026

Casting director Parag Chadha has claimed that filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has still not cleared his dues for 1920: Horrors Of The Heart, three years after its release. He haas also alleged that Bhatt owes money to the cast and other crew of the film. He has explicitly named Vikram Bhatt, his daughter, Krishna Bhatt, who had directed the film, and actress Avika Gor’s production house. He has reproduced his chats on WhatsApp with Vikram Bhatt, on his social media handles, where he has spoken about the non-clearance of his dues.

Parag has alleged that he had been asking for the payments for years now but had never received any response from the team except one which said, “We don’t have funds.”

In December last year, Vikram Bhatt and his wife, Shwetambari, were arrested by the Rajasthan police from Bombay and taken to Udaipur after a complaint of fraud and criminal breach of trust was filed against them by Dr. Ajay Murdia, founder of Indira IVF and Fertility Centre. Murdia had accused the Bhatts and some others in their team of cheating him of Rs. 30 crore, which were allegedly taken from him for film production but siphoned off for personal expenses.
