Chandan Cinema at Juhu in Bombay downed shutters on 29th March. Three new miniplexes will come up in place of the iconic Chandan which was the favourite cinema of people living in the Juhu neighbourhood. It is owned by Sameer Joshi and was started in 1974 by his father, with Raj Kapoor’s Bobby. The cinema was revamped in 1994 for the Barjatyas’ Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!.
