Ajay Bahl’s Section 375 will release on 13th September. The Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha starrer is based on an important piece of legislation which is applied to rape cases in India.
Akshaye plays a best-in-the-business defence lawyer in the film while Richa is cast as a tough public prosecutor. Rahul Bhatt also plays a key role in the film – that of a film director who is accused of rape. Meera Chopra plays the rape victim. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. Aditya Chowksey and Sanjeev Joshi are co-producers. Banners: T-Series and Panorama Studios.
