A defamation case has been lodged against Oriya film actor and MP Anubhav Mohanty. The case was filed on 29th October at the Purighat police station in Cuttack by Anubhav’s neighbour, Manjeet Das, who is a leader of the Biju Chhatra Janata Dal.
Manjeet alleged that the tweets of Anubhav Mohanty were maligning his image by spreading false information about him. Anubhav had a few days back tweeted a video of Manjeet Das and had called him a drunkard and an anti-social element. Das asked for action to be taken against Mohanty under the Information Technology Act.
