A day after denying permission over “specific threat-related inputs” and security concerns, Delhi police on October 23 cleared Diljit Dosanjh’s AURA India Tour concert in Delhi, scheduled to be held on October 30 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The nod came when several Delhi schools received emails threatening that the singer’s show would be targeted.
According to sources in the police, the clearance was granted after the organisers agreed to strengthen arrangements for crowd management, deploy additional staff and coordinate with police to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
